What makes us different

We run on curiosity.

We ask the right questions, reporter-style, about your brand and customers, to create a content strategy that meets your needs.

We’re audience obsessed.

We mine your customers’ desires, struggles, and aspirations, for stories that connect with this-is-for-me immediacy.

We’re choosy about talent.

We curate pitch-perfect, expert contributors from our vetted network for every client. Then we edit to drive audiences to action.

We spend your content energy wisely.

Every company has resource constraints. Together, we’ll commit to the content strategy, cadence and workflow that support your business.

About Laura

Laura Kalehoff is a proven expert in connecting with consumers through best-in-class branded content, editorial, and brand marketing. She founded and led the content studio of one of the world’s largest publishers and served as Editor-in-Chief of two national magazines. Kalehoff Creative was built upon her content playbook and global network of content creators, empowering brands through in-demand storytelling.

As Director of Hearst Digital Media’s content studio, Laura led the execution of campaigns annually across 25 digital properties (including Elle, Marie Claire and House Beautiful), sparking clients to reach their goals through compelling content. She hired and developed the team, established the ethos and workflow, and led content creation from strategy through optimization, resulting in persuasive campaigns that resonated with target consumers, delivered on clients’ objectives, more than doubled revenue and established HDM’s reputation for impactful branded content.

While Editor-in-Chief of Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health, Laura spearheaded the rebranding of both titles—including positioning, editorial strategy and design—gaining market share and resonating with modern audiences. Prior, Laura held senior editorial roles at Self and other titles. As an editor, she’s known for her vision, visual sense and contemporary voice.

Laura’s appeared on CBS, was quoted as a branded content authority in WWD, Digiday and Pressboard, and was featured as an expert in USA Today and Newsday. Laura’s spoken at Proctor + Gamble headquarters, trained sales teams on articulating the value of content and advised executives at major consumer brands on creating stories that resonate.

Laura lives in Pelham Manor, New York, with her husband, Max, and three kids. When she’s not working with clients, she’s playing paddle sports and having fun with home design.
